NYBG ASL African American Garden Tour

Meets at the Barnsley Beds at The Edible Academy

This tour, led by an NYBG Tour Guide accompanied by an American Sign Language interpreter, gives visitors who are Deaf an enhanced experience through the African American Garden at the New York Botanical Garden. Explore the botanical legacies of the African Diaspora, including plants that are food staples, remedies, and sources of inspiration to Black culture in the United States, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
