Lincoln Center Presents: The Sistas With Transistas- A Transformative Evening of Sound, Story, and Sistahood

February 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Free

Join us for Convergence: A Transformative Evening of Sound, Story, and Sistahood, an unprecedented gathering featuring the iconic Afrofuturist musician and technological innovator Nona Hendryx in collaboration with an array of other visionary artists to be announced. These groundbreaking voices will untangle the creative intersections of mechanization and memory, ancestral knowledge and as-yet-uncharted futurity, inviting audiences into an intimate yet expansive conversation about artistic lineages, the politics of sound, and the ways experimental practice can hold space for transformation and healing. Convergence, presented in collaboration with the Black Sound Salon, is more than just a confluence of great minds. It’s a ritual where past and future collapse into a fresh present—a can’t-miss event that transcends traditional boundaries between panel discussion and performance.
