Brooklyn DJ and producer J.PERIOD (The Hamilton Mixtape) is renowned for his “audio-biography” mixtapes—featuring icons like Nas, Q-Tip, Lauryn Hill, and The Roots—which have solidified his reputation as a top-tier producer, a trusted collaborator, and a groundbreaking musical historian. His long-running performance series J.PERIOD Live Mixtape transforms the traditional Hip-Hop stage show into a high-energy moment of record, captured live onstage in one take. On August 9, Lincoln Center continues its celebration of 50 years of Hip-Hop with J.PERIOD Live Mixtape: Gods & Kings Edition, a commemoration of 2023’s golden anniversary with performances from two of New York’s most legendary emcees, Rakim and Big Daddy Kane, along with more special surprise guests.

Entrance to Damrosch Park is located on the north side of West 62nd Street, between Columbus and Amsterdam, located on an accessible route.
Event entry is available through Fast Track or General Admission. For most events, gates open 30 minutes before the event begins.

Special Instructions
For guests unable to stand in line due to a disability, access Fast Track via lottery beginning at noon on Monday before performance or check in to the Guest Experience station in the David Geffen Hall Welcome Center beginning 30 minutes before gates open to receive a hand stamp to enter at the Fast Track entrance. Guests who are unable to stand in line due to a disability are welcome to bring up to 3 companions. Please note that hand stamp does not guarantee entrance and capacity is limited. While event admission is not guaranteed, Fast Track ticket holders will have priority over the General Admission line. Accessible seat locations and designated aisle seats are marked by blue bands on chairs and dispersed throughout the seating area. Higher weight capacity chairs , with a seat pan of 30”, dispersed throughout seating area and upon request. Accessible gendered restrooms located inside venue.
