Adapted from Shakespeare’s The Tempest, our story begins when the magician Prospero creates an enchanted storm to bring a ship filled with his enemies to the island where he and his daughter have been stranded. Along with his fairy helper Ariel and other island spirits, Prospero creates a wild adventure for everyone on the island. As his plans come to pass, he must not only confront his past but also reckon with his own actions. He especially must confront his treatment of the half-human, half-fish Caliban to whom the island actually belongs to.
