Join us at the Intrepid Museum for
Kids Week! Children of all ages and interests will learn about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & math) through fun-filled activities, NASA displays & exhibits, live animal shows, hands-on workshops, performances, special guests and interactive demonstrations designed to educate and inspire.
Families and individuals who are blind or have low vision are invited to attend for FREE on Wednesday, February 22. Audio description will be available for all stage performances and demonstrations. In the Maker Zone hands-on workshop, families can create tactile drawings of constellations to inspire storytelling and imagination. Educators will be stationed around the Museum throughout the day for special touch experiences, including artifacts and aircraft.
