Interpreting MoMA: Sophie Taeuber-Arp

March 1, 2022 @ 5:15 pm - 7:30 pm

Free
Join us for Interpreting MoMA, our free program for d/Deaf adults, featuring a private gallery talk with sign-language interpretation of the Sophie Taeuber-Arp: Living Abstraction special exhibition. You’ll learn directly from exhibition curator Anne Umland about the artist’s process and fluid movement between genres, disciplines, and creative roles, exploring how her work challenged the boundaries separating fine art from craft and design. Voiced English will be interpreted into ASL.

5:15 p.m. – Check-in at the staff entrance (also known as the film entrance) at 11 W 53rd Street, and social time in the Hess Member’s Lounge
6:00 p.m. – Tour and gallery conversation, in the Sophie Taeuber-Arp: Living Abstraction exhibition

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Register using this online form: https://momalearning.wufoo.com/forms/pypp5qs10q8i8a/
