Please join us for MoMA’s bimonthly program welcoming individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing to participate in an ASL-interpreted private gallery talk focusing on one of MoMA’s exhibitions, along with a wine and snack reception.
In March, we will explore the exhibition New Ground: Jacob Samuel and Contemporary Etching with curator Esther Adler. Master printer and publisher Jacob Samuel has brought etchings—prints created by transferring ink from a metal plate to paper—into the 21st century through collaborations with more than 60 contemporary artists. Together we will learn about the flexibility of etching and its reinvention for a contemporary world through Samuel’s printmaking tools and processes.
Interpreting MoMA is offered free of charge. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Registration opens on February 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
