Join us for Interpreting MoMA, our free program for deaf adults, featuring a private gallery talk with sign-language interpretation of the exhibition Joseph E. Yoakum: What I Saw.
We’ll start the evening with check-in and time to socialize. This will be followed by a 6:00pm tour of the Joseph E. Yoakum special exhibition on MoMA’s 2nd Floor. You’ll learn directly from exhibition curator Esther Adler about the artist’s process, style, and community. Voiced English will be interpreted into ASL.
5:15 p.m. – Check-in at the staff entrance at 11 W 53rd Street, and social time in the Hess Member’s Lounge
6:00 p.m. – Tour and gallery conversation, in the Joseph E. Yoakum: What I Saw exhibition on MoMA’s 2nd Floor
