The Intrepid Museum will open to the public for free from 5:00pm-9:00pm and will include, talks from leading scientists and activities from the Museum’s education department.
Local astronomers will be on hand with their high-powered telescopes to help visitors navigate the night sky and answer questions about astronomy and stargazing. Guests are welcome to bring their own binoculars or look through the telescopes of the experts.

Newly commissioned by Voices of Ascension, Astronautica is a work of music, voice, and video by women composers for a trio of female singers. Inspired by and based on the words of women astronauts, each piece includes videos taken by the astronauts while onboard space shuttles. Hear from the composers of a select group of songs from the show, as they talk about the inspiration behind each song.
