A Fireside Chat with Imani Barbarin

Join Imani Barbarin, disability rights activist, speaker, and writer for a fireside chat at Jaffe Drive. Imani, also known as Crutches and Spice by Imani Barbarin, uses her voice and platforms to create conversations engaging the disability community. Born with cerebral palsy, Imani often writes and shares from the perspective of a disabled Black woman. In the last few years, she has created over a dozen trending hashtags that allow Disabled folk the opportunity to have their perspectives heard while forcing the world to take notice. Her impactful work has earned her recognition from The Root 100 and she has been featured on numerous popular podcasts.
