Tour South Street Seaport Museum’s tall ship Wavertree before the Museum opens to the general public. Handle the ship’s wheel, see where the crew slept, and learn about life aboard this historic ship.

This program is for children 6-12 who have autism, and their families. It is a free program, but registration is required.

Special Instructions
To board Wavertree it is necessary to walk up several steps and a ramp. The boat will not sail, but is floating in water and will therefore move. Registration is required. Please call Melissa Carp at 212-748-8696 if you have any questions. We will meet in front of Wavertree on Pier 16 which is located in lower Manhattan where John Street and South Streets meet.
