Tour South Street Seaport Museum’s tall ship Wavertree before the Museum opens to the general public. Handle the ship’s wheel, see where the crew slept, and learn about what life was like aboard this historic vessel.

The program is free, but registration is required.

Special Instructions
This program is for children 6-12 years old who have autism, and their families. The program is free but registration is required. To board the ship it is necessary to walk up several steps and a ramp. The boat will not sail, but will move because it is floating in the water. We will meet in front of Wavertree on Pier 16 which is located where John Street meets South Street. Please call Melissa Carp at 212-748-8696 if you have any questions.
