Morning at the Museum is a Smithsonian program that provides access to a museum for individuals with cognitive and sensory processing disabilities. Join Cooper Hewitt, the National Portrait Gallery, and Access Smithsonian for a special virtual edition of Morning at the Museum. In this free, virtual program, participants will explore the work of designer Isamu Noguchi and design their own playground.
Participants have the option to build a 3-dimensional design using everyday materials from their home. Participation in all activities is possible with no materials, or you can use a paper and any writing tools to record your brainstorming ideas. Preparatory materials, including worksheets and a visual schedule, will be provided via email one week prior to the program date.
This program is free and for all ages. Pre-registration required. To register, contact Ashley Grady at firstname.lastname@example.org.
