Verbally described Touch Tour of the NYPL’s Stephen Schwarzman Building

Join NYPL docents on a verbally descriptive  and tactile tour of the historic Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, designed for visually impaired patrons. Our docents will guide you through the building and discuss the history of the library and its architecture, encouraging you to touch unusual decorative elements of this Beaux-Arts treasure while learning about our many special collections.  Tours meet in Astor Hall on Wednesday, May 22nd at 1pm or Wednesday, June 26th at 4:30pm.  Email tours@nypl.org to register or call 212-930-0650.
