Verbal description and touch tours provide an opportunity for visitors who are blind or have low vision and their companions to experience the richness and diversity of twentieth and twenty-first century American art through vivid description and tactile opportunities. This month’s tour of Making Knowing: Craft in Art, 1950–2019will be truncated, running thirty minutes, and will be followed by a ceramics workshop in the Whitney’s Laurie M. Tisch Education Center.
