Join an artist educator for a tour specifically designed for visitors who are blind or have low vision. Through verbal description, conversation, and sensory experiences, visitors will gain an understanding of the materials, processes, and concepts that drive innovation in the fields of art, craft, and design.
In June, participants will visit MAD Fellow Tamara Santibañez in her studio to learn about the materials, processes, and ideas that inform her creative practice before spending time in MAD’s galleries to explore selected works in the exhibition Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die: Punk Graphics, 1976-86.
