Please join us Friday, February 27, from 6-8p for the opening of The Long Dark, a collaborative exhibition bridging Artists Alliance | Cuchifritos Gallery and Parent Company featuring works by Simon Benjamin, Maria Jose Garcia Estevez, Clare Koury, Alyssa Matthews, Carly Ries, Viktor Timofeev, and Dex Vandersall. The exhibition is organized in dialogue with Parent Company’s winter solo exhibitions by artists Bryce Kroll and Leonardo Madriz and takes its title from writer and psychotherapist Francis Weller’s notion of the “long dark” — a generative period of descent, gestation, and transformation.
