Stories Within – Concorde

For visitors with dementia and their carepartners, the Intrepid Museum offers the Stories Within. Led by trained Museum staff, small groups explore the Museum and reflect on the history of the ship, its aircraft and the stories of people who served at sea. These multi-sensory experiences are designed to spark conversation and reflection.

Concorde

Explore the fastest commercial airplane to ever cross the Atlantic Ocean! Learn what it was like to fly aboard the supersonic British Airways Concorde, and hear the stories of its glamorous passengers. Please note that entering the Concorde requires climbing up a flight of stairs and walking through a narrow aisle. There will be a designated accessible  group that explores the outside of the Concorde with additional visuals showing the inside of the plane.
