Stories Within- Apollo 50th Anniversary

The Intrepid Museum offers Stories Within for individuals with dementia and their care partners. Educators lead small groups on a multi-sensory experience, including historic photographs, handling objects, singing songs and sharing stories.

The aircraft carrier Intrepid and space shuttle Enterprise each carried astronauts, but for very different reasons! Visit the Space Shuttle Pavilion and step inside the Museum’s pop-up planetarium to learn about these missions and discover what it takes to travel to space
