Shakespeare & Autism Project

March 11, 2017 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

$25

Come join this special drama class for students on the autism spectrum!

Using the universal themes of William Shakespeare’s plays as a jumping off point, the Shakespeare and Autism Project engages students on the autism spectrum in dramatic games to break through communicative blocks and play. Games target communication skills using specialized acting games, demonstration, repetition, and the text of Shakespeare’s play The Tempest.

Created by former Royal Shakespeare Company actress Kelly Hunter, now artistic director of Flute Theatre: Shakespeare for Inclusive Audiences.
