The Intrepid Museum offers Sensory Friendly Evenings for individuals with autism. By  keeping the doors open at night for teens (14+) and adults, participants can experience the Museum in a sensory-friendly environment. Participants can pick up a sensory bag with interactive activities designed for the whole group, and explore the Museum without the crowds! Participants receive a social narrative ahead of time.

For this in person program, visit Intrepid’s flight deck where aircraft took off and landed. Explore the many airplanes and helicopters in the Museum’s collection and go behind the scenes to take a closer look at some of these amazing aircraft.
