The Queens Museum welcomes teens (ages 13+) and adults with disabilities to join us at the museum for art-making and exhibition exploration.
On the first weekend of the month we welcome teens (ages 13+) and adults with disabilities and their families to visit the Queens Museum from 2:00-4:00pm for art-making and gallery exploration, guided by our museum educators. Each month explores a new theme and art activities (activities on Saturday are repeated on Sunday programs).
Since 1983, ArtAccess initiatives at the Queens Museum have provided programming for children, teens, and adults with disabilities and advanced accessibility initiatives throughout the museum. ArtAccess programs promote social inclusion and self-determination, encourage experimentation and creative expression and provide layers of multisensory experiences.
