Participants will use a range of materials to create a palette for an interior space with guest designer Carnegie Fabrics. Morning at the Museum is a Smithsonian program that provides access to a museum for individuals with cognitive and sensory processing disabilities. This program provides early entrance, pre-visit materials for participating families, a gallery scavenger hunt, design activities, and a “take a break” space.
Carnegie Fabrics offers a broad range of innovative textile solutions for interiors around the world. Carnegie’s team includes textile designers, weavers, painters and graphic designers committed to examining new technologies. Their work is currently on view in Nature by Design: Selections from the Permanent Collection.
