We invite visitors who are blind or who have low vision to join us for a tour and discussion of Wang Jianwei: Time Temple. Wang Jianwei’s work examines the contact between art and social reality. His highly innovative artworks consider space and time in elaborate ways: working from the notion that the production of artwork can be a continuous rehearsal, connecting theater, visual art, and film. This tour will be conducted through Verbal Description and touch.
Free, but space is limited; advance RSVP is required by January 7. To RSVP, call 212 360 4355 or e-mailaccess@guggenheim.org.
This program is made possible by The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation.
