Mindful Connections Online: For Visitors with Dementia and their Caregivers

May 11, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

Mindful Connections is the Rubin Museum’s long-running access program that connects art and adults living with dementia. Join us online for an hour of close looking and discussion led by museum teachers and staff.

On May 11, the program will explore themes of love and protection. We will examine and discuss two works of Himalayan art that feature female deities of the Bön tradition: Sherab Chamma, the loving mother of wisdom, and Mo Lha, a personal god and protector who is one of the Five Foremost Deities. We hope you (and perhaps a loved one) will join us for an engaging hour of connection.

Registration is free and easy! You will receive the Zoom link to connect to the program in your confirmation email. Please view our Frequently Asked Questions for more information or contact the box office at boxoffice@rubinmuseum.org for assistance.

We hope to see you there!
