Explore the fastest commercial airplane ever to cross the Atlantic Ocean! Learn what it was like to fly aboard the supersonic British Airways Concorde, and practice preparing for a transatlantic flight.
On select weekends, the Museum opens its doors one hour early for families with children on the autism spectrum. Educators lead short, interactive tours designed for the whole family as well as drop-in art activities and structured play opportunities. These programs are free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. For more information and to register, visit www.intrepidmuseum.org/access#5.
Please note that entering the Concorde requires walking up a flight of stairs and walking through a narrow aisle. There will be a designated group that explores the outside of the Concorde with additional visuals showing the inside of the plane and special activities.
