Intrepid Early Opening

Astronauts aboard Intrepid and Enterprise –
The aircraft carrier Intrepid and space shuttle Enterprise each carried astronauts, but for very different reasons! Visit the Space Shuttle Pavilion and learn about these missions to discover what it takes to go to space and return safely.
On select weekends and school breaks, the Museum opens its doors one hour early for families with children on the autism spectrum. Educators lead short, interactive tours designed for the whole family as well as drop-in art activities and structured play opportunities. These programs are free, but space is limited.
