The Museum, Arts and Culture Access Consortium (MAC)’s Supporting Transitions project is hosting a series on Inclusive and Accessible Employment through the month of July.
After a year of re-imagining the way we work, join us to discuss a future of employment – a future that embraces the creativity we have seen in the past year to build a new way of approaching the cultural workforce, one where disability is valued.
The series will consist of events for:
While the Supporting Transitions project focuses on creating opportunities for adults with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities, we believe in cross-disability solidarity and a cohesive, collaborative disability community.
All parts of the series will be captioned. The opening panel will have ASL Interpretation. ASL Interpretation is available for any other portions of the series as requested. CART is available for breakout rooms as requested. All access services are available. Please indicate your access needs on your registration form. An access guide will be sent out prior to the event and there will be a staff member available for access support.

Networking Event and Closing: Connecting for a More Inclusive Future
Thursday, July 22nd, 5pm-6:30pm ET – Structured networking will occur 5pm-6pm and the zoom will remain open until 6:30pm for anyone who would like to stay.
We encourage employees at cultural organizations to attend all four cultural organization workshops and job seekers to attend both job seeker workshops.
