Roses are red,
Violets are blue
The Guggenheim’s art
Has love letters for you.
The Guggenheim is continuing to celebrate the ideas, people, and art at the core of its mission by offering virtual and in-person Mind’s Eye programming for participants who are blind or have low vision.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, join us for this month’s Mind’s Eye to exchange verbal description love letters with Guggenheim artworks. We’ll take a lighthearted approach, with some artworks sharing their own love letters with the group and a chance to get creative and romantic with the language we use to appreciate art. This session features all new love letters from all new artworks, so if you’ve been to a previous Love Letters session, you’ll be just as surprised as any newcomers.
This month’s Mind’s Eye virtual programming will be led by educator Rachel Ropeik through verbal description and conversation. The virtual session will be accessible by web link or by dial-in phone number, depending on your preference. In-person programming on Valentine’s Day will be led by educators Karen Bergman and Laura Sloan.
Free, but space is limited. RSVP is required three days before the program. To RSVP, call 212 360 4355 or email access@guggenheim.org.
