Join us for a sensory-friendly evening of structured fun at Cooper Hewitt. Explore how music and design come together in the Art of Noise exhibition with interactive experiences, conversation, and creativity.
This program offers four opportunities for participation:
- Exhibition Galleries and Guided Tour: Enjoy full access to the Art of Noise exhibition throughout the night. A 30-minute tour of the exhibition begins at 6:30 p.m. Led by museum staff, this tour will highlight key works and ideas.
- Hands-On Activity: Try a fun, creative activity connected to the themes of the exhibition.
- Wine, Drinks, and Snacks: Relax and mingle while enjoying refreshments.
- Break Room: Need a break from the fun? A quiet space will be available for your comfort.
Registration is required. Design Night programs are free for visitors with disabilities and their companions.

ACCESSIBILITY AND WHAT TO EXPECT
- Format: Preview the Know-Before-You-Go resource. This program allows participants to engage at their own pace. Staff will be available for support throughout the program.
- About this space: The museum will be closed to the public. A variety of seating is provided for activity, refreshment, and quiet stations. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible. There is an accessible restroom on the ground floor. Read more about accessibility at Cooper Hewitt.
- Accommodations: CART Captioning will be available at the activity stations to support conversation. The Break Room will be open for the duration of the program.
