7–9 pm
Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor
Get to know the people who inspired visionary designer Thierry Mugler through this conversation between three of his muses. Joey Arias has been a fixture of New York City’s downtown performance art scene for more than thirty years; Dianne Brill is a designer, model, and former club kid; and model Stella Ellis pioneered the term “full-figured Supersizemodel.” As part of our series on Mugler’s muses, these special guests take us behind the scenes on their work with the late artist, from doing makeup for his shows to strutting down his runways and collaborating on editorial projects.
Masks are required in the Auditorium and will be available upon arrival.
Tickets are $30 and include after-hours admission to Thierry Mugler: Couturissime. Member tickets are $20. Not a Member? Join today! Add a copy of the catalogue at checkout.
This program will include ASL interpretation. For access needs, please email us at access@brooklynmuseum.org.
