Join guest conductor David Bernard, Juilliard Pre-College sensation Kento Hong, and the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon of beautiful music. Bernard, Music Director of the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony and Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra, will escort the audience on a musical journey through northern Europe’s rivers and fjords. Hong will perform Jean Sibelius’s evocative and mesmerizing Violin Concerto, while members of the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra will play the beautiful and spirited music of Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt, Suite no. 1, and Sibelius’s Symphony no. 2.
Advance tickets are available through the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra at $15 for seniors and Museum Members and $20 for non-Members; same-day tickets are $25 at the door. Free for ages 16 and under.
