ASL Tour: Baseera Khan: I Am an Archive.

March 26, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free with registration

2–3 pm

Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, 4th Floor

Visitors from the D/deaf community are invited to experience our collection in an American Sign Language (ASL) tour, led by a Deaf teaching artist. This tour is in ASL only, without voice interpretation, and begins after a brief meet-and-greet. This month, discover how Baseera Khan uses their own body to visualize the lived experience of people at the intersection of Muslim and American identities in Baseera Khan: I Am an Archive.

The program is free, but space is limited, and registration is required. This tour is designed for the d/Deaf community. If you’re an ASL student, please email access@brooklynmuseum.org for more information about tours for ASL students.

Questions? Email us at access@brooklynmuseum.org.
