Art inSight at Home is an online program for individuals who are blind or have low vision. During each session, staff educators highlight specific themes, artists, or exhibitions through verbal description and discussion using the Zoom platform.

In this interactive session, we will have a conversation about the exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe: To See Takes Time with curator Samantha Friedman and curatorial assistant Emily Olek. Together we’ll explore multiple series of works in which the artist revisited and reworked the same subjects, developing, repeating, and transforming motifs that lie between observation and abstraction.

Art inSight is free of charge. Participants may join with the Zoom app or website, or toll free via phone.

Program Image Description
A watercolor landscape painting of rolling mountains against a blue sky. Loose watery brushstrokes shape each mountain painted on cream colored paper. A grassy green ridge fills half of the page in the foreground, with deep blue, red, and pale pink peaks building on top of each other as they go further back into the distance.
