Visitors who are blind or partially sighted are invited to attend join this online program, based on exhibits in halls of the American Museum of Natural History. Specially trained Museum tour guides will highlight specific themes and exhibits, engaging participants through extensive verbal descriptions and discussion.
Virtual tours are free. Advance registration is required to receive the online Zoom link.

From animal taxidermy to flower preparation, take a virtual journey through the Museum to discover how the Museum’s world-famous dioramas are created. Through extensive verbal description, learn how dioramas are constructed, explore diorama foregrounds, and discuss the work of the background painters.
Some dioramas discussed will be from the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, the Sanford Hall of North American Birds, and the Warburg Hall of New York State Environment.
