CaringKind continues its partnership with Ailey Arts In Education to offer dance workshops for caregivers together with the person in their care at the New Settlement Community Center in the Bronx. This workshop is adapted to participants’ abilities and may improve strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and endurance through learning basic dance skills. Participants explore personal stories through movement and gesture. Working in pairs, participants will enjoy dance that stimulates imagination and fosters joy.
