Lincoln Center Presents: Dance Storytime With Carlota Santana

Presented in collaboration with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts
Flamenco and Spanish dance artist and educator Carlota Santana joins us for Dance Storytime, a family-friendly creative storytelling workshop where young audiences learn basic movements of flamenco dance. We will learn rhythmic handclaps (palmas), arm movements (braceo), body posturing (marcaje), and footwork (taconeo), all tailored to beginners. By the end, participants will be able to “perform” a simple choreographed dance. This is a Relaxed Performance.
There are two ways to access this free event:
1. General Admission, first-come first-served. Just show up!
2. Fast Track opening the Monday before the event at noon for all. Or, become a member and enjoy priority entry with automatic access to every Fast Track line, all year round.
