The solo exhibition “Wild Things” by AAI’s LES Studio Program alum Sunny Leerasanthanah, on view June 26 – September 19, 2026, at Cuchifritos Gallery inside Essex Market, links early 20th-century dioramas at New York’s American Museum of Natural History with Florida’s hunt for invasive Burmese pythons, exploring American myths about who or what is deemed worthy of preserving.
