The company’s creative leadership of mother/daughters Ranee Ramaswamy\, Aparna Ramaswamy\, and Ashwini Ramaswamy are internationally acclaimed for their mastery of the South Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam. Guided by senior members of the company\, this interactive program highlights elements of Ragamala’s work that reveal the dynamic interplay between dance\, music\, and poetry within their dance lineage. \nRagamala Dance Company\, Aparna Ramaswamy and Ranee Ramaswamy\, Artistic Directors \nThis event is part of Lincoln Center Moments\, a free performance-based program specially designed for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. \nVirtual programs are 90 minutes long\, including live and recorded performances and activities facilitated by educators and music therapists that explore the work through discussion\, movement\, music\, and art-making.
