SUMMARY:ACCESS JRM: Sensory-Friendly Hours
DESCRIPTION:Join us for sensory-friendly hours at the Jackie Robinson Museum\, held on the first Friday afternoon of each month and specially designed for neurodivergent visitors\, including youth and their families\, teens\, and adults. ACCESS JRM Fridays will feature limited general admission for reduced crowds and quieter gallery spaces with exhibit audio reduced or silenced. \nIn addition to our KultureCity resources available at all times\, ACCESS JRM hours will include availability of a dedicated quiet zone and interpretive offerings such as tours\, picture book readings\, and tactile learning opportunities for inclusive exploration. All age groups are welcome! \nACCESS JRM is mostly a self-guided experience and not designed as a drop-off activity. All children and youth ticket holders must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special story time and meet-and-greet featuring new children’s book\, Call Me Roberto! Roberto Clemente Goes to Bat for Latinos! Enjoy a family-friendly reading with author Nathalie Alonso and art activities with illustrator Rudy Gutierrez. \nAbout the Event:\nEvent tickets include Museum admission and an option to purchase the book. This program is targeted toward families and intergenerational groups with children ages 5-11\, though all are welcome. This is not a drop off event. Adult supervision is required. Advance registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. \nAccessibility at the Jackie Robinson Museum \nAll exhibit galleries and programming spaces at the Museum are physically accessible and we are a KultureCity® certified Sensory-Inclusive venue\, which includes the availability of sensory bags and a designated quiet zone.
