DESCRIPTION:Join the artists of New York City Ballet in these movement workshops designed especially for children with autism and their families. \nDuring these one-hour events\, children will be guided in a ballet-based warm-up and choreography inspired by a featured ballet being performed this season. Workshops feature live piano accompaniment and a designated quiet space will be available. A visual schedule will be sent prior to the event to give your child advance notice of what will be happening during the workshop. \nNo prior dance experience is necessary and siblings are encouraged to participate. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTICKET PRICING\n$8 per participating child. If ticket price is a barrier\, please do not hesitate to contact us at education@nycballet.com. Please note that accompanying family members/caretakers do not need a ticket to attend.  \nOnce registered\, you will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire providing more information on how we can best meet the needs of your child. \nATTIRE\nClothing that is comfortable to move in. DESCRIPTION:Join the artists of New York City Ballet in these movement workshops designed especially for children with physical disabilities and movement challenges. \nDuring these one-hour movement workshops\, NYCB Dancers will guide young movers of all abilities in a ballet-based warm-up and choreography inspired by some of the ballets being performed through the season. Children will be partnered with volunteer medical/PT/OT students who will provide support during the event\, and modifications\, including standing and seated movement options\, will be offered. \nIntended for children with Cerebral Palsy\, Dystonia\, Spina Bifida\, SMA\, and other physical disabilities.
