DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free in-person American Sign Language-led exploration of Lincoln Center’s campus\, transformed for our annual summer festival. This workshop will explore the artistic design by visionary artist Clint Ramos\, featuring greenery and colorful botanicals\, and an iconic mega disco ball hanging over the Revson Fountain in Lincoln Center’s Plaza. \nA majority of the workshop will take place outdoors\, including several stops\, covering the distance of approximately three square blocks along an accessible route. SUMMARY:Intrepid Museum- Inclusive Pride Family Day: Express Yourself!
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Intrepid Museum to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride at our Inclusive Pride Family Day: Express Yourself! Learn about the history of struggle and accomplishments of LGBTQ+ communities in the Navy and explore opportunities for self-expression on board. Families of all ages and identities are invited to participate in hands-on art and storytelling activities all about expressing themselves. The afternoon will also include a read-aloud and a family-friendly presentation. Entry to the Museum is FREE with event pre-registration. \nA quiet room will be available to families who need to take a break. A social narrative\, visual vocabulary\, and visual schedule will be sent to every family before the event.
