SUMMARY:DEGENERATES – Mask-Required Performance
DESCRIPTION:DEGENERATES\, written by Else Went and directed by Emma Rosa Went\, takes us into an obscure corner of the internet where a group of young men have built a community around a shared conviction: the game is rigged against them\, they will never be loved\, and there is little point in trying. When an unexpected relationship begins to form\, the consequences of that fatalism become painfully clear. Darkly funny and unsettling\, DEGENERATES examines an insular online community formed around shared and seemingly infinite miseries. \nThis is a mask-required performance. All audience members are required to wear a mask while inside the theater. Masks will be available for patrons who need one.

SUMMARY:In-Person Verbal Description Tour | Nike: Form Follows Motion
DESCRIPTION:People who are blind or have low vision are invited to join us at MAD for an in-person verbal description tour of Nike: Form Follows Motion. \nThe exhibition explores Nike’s evolution over the past five decades\, from a small Oregon running company to one of the world’s most influential sports brands and cultural forces. Drawing primarily from the Department of Nike Archives (DNA)\, the exhibition brings together rarely seen experimental prototypes\, original design studies\, rarities\, and one-of-a-kind pieces alongside iconic shoe collaborations to highlight how sport can drive design innovation and shape global culture. \nSpace for student observers or professional colleagues is limited.
