Join us at the museum to explore the exhibition By Way Of: Material and Motion in the Guggenheim Collection. \nThis after-hours program will be led by educator Joyce Hom. We’ll begin with a tour of the galleries followed by a light reception and art-making activities in the education center. \nDesigned for the D/deaf community\, the tour is in ASL only without voice interpretation. DESCRIPTION:Join us in May for a tour of the exhibitions A Year With Children and By Way Of: Material and Motion in the Guggenheim Collection. \nExpect the unexpected! Join us in exploring artworks that integrate unexpected or unconventional materials and processes. We’ll cover objects from professional artists featured in the exhibition By Way Of\, and by student artists participating in Learning Through Art\, the Guggenheim’s artist-in-residency program in NYC public elementary schools. \nThis month’s Mind’s Eye programming will be led by Guggenheim educators through verbal description and conversation. The virtual session will be accessible by web link or by dial-in phone number\, depending on your preference. \nThe same program will be offered twice virtually and twice in person; please RSVP for only one session. \nVirtual Programs: \n\nMonday\, May 6\, 6:30–8:30pm ET\nWednesday\, May 8\, 2–4pm ET\n\nIn Person Programs: \n\nMonday\, May 13\, 6:30–8:30pm\nWednesday\, May 15\, 2–4pm\n\nFree\, but space is limited.
