The full day of events includes an exciting concert with #1 New York Times bestselling children’s book author and playwright Mo Willems\, in participation with musicians from the New York Philharmonic; excerpts from Electric Root Presents: Selections from The Sound of (Black) Music\, a groundbreaking show that reimagines the music from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music\, journeying through a kaleidoscope of jazz\, soul\, funk\, gospel and afro-grooves; a puppet parade for all; interactive workshops and an AI installation; a participatory dance party\, and more. This after-hours event will provide exclusive access to the museum’s exhibition\, Just Frame It: How Nike Turned Sports Stars into Superheroes. The tour will be led by a Museum Educator. This intimate experience will allow guests to get up close with the posters described\, as well as provide additional tactile objects to help illuminate the art. \nWhile everyone is welcome\, Poster House offers Vibrant Verbal Description Tours specifically for community members who are blind\, have low vision\, or who benefit from verbal descriptions. \nAccessibility Notes: Our front door is wheelchair accessible. An unlikely love story\, and a startling new work of speculative fiction\, In the Amazon Warehouse Parking Lot is a quietly revolutionary tale of queer aging\, chosen family\, and the search for home in a volatile world. \nTo address any economic barriers\, we have various ticketing options available\, including  tickets priced as low as $30 through the FREE Access Passport. The Playwrights Horizons Access Passport empowers you to enjoy theater on your terms.
