SUMMARY:Lincoln Center Presents: Jeremy Nedd
DESCRIPTION:Part of the Pasculano Collaborative for Contemporary Dance \nLaunching the new Lincoln Center Contemporary Dance Festival is a New York premiere by Brooklyn-born\, Basel-based choreographer Jeremy Nedd. The work serves as a study on transformation and communal joy\, reclaiming the viral Milly Rock dance move as an evolving language within Black culture. Five performers—including Jeremy Nedd\, Brandy Butler\, Zen Jefferson\, Nasheeka Nedsreal\, and Jeremy Guyton—search for the hidden poetry and virtuosic freedom found in social and viral dance moves. This performance will feature audio description. \nWith the support of Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels \nDon’t miss the pre-show talk! Join us in the Alice Tully Hall Lobby at 6:15pm for a pre-show talk with the curatorial team from the Pasculano Collaborative for Contemporary Dance to hear more about the production. The pre-show talk is open to the public and does not require a performance ticket.  \nTo book your performance ticket\, visit this website. To make the arts more accessible\, tickets are available on a Choose-What-You-Pay basis. Select the ticket value that’s right for you\, knowing your contribution helps expand access for all.
