Mellissa Huber\, co-curator of the exhibition Women Dressing Women\, moderates a conversation with the panel after a series of short presentations. \nPresented celebration of Women’s History Month and in conjunction with the exhibition Women Dressing Women. \nFree with Museum admission\, though advance registration is required. Note: Space is limited; first come\, first served. Registration does not guarantee admission once the auditorium reaches capacity. \nMasks are strongly recommended. See our visitor guidelines. \n\nWatch the livestream on The Met’s YouTube channel. SUMMARY:Virtual Intrepid Access Family Program: What is that? Creative Solutions from the Front Lines
DESCRIPTION:The Intrepid Museum offers monthly programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These programs take place on select Sundays. Families can join a guided virtual experience and participate in activities that everyone can enjoy. Registrants receive a visual schedule and vocabulary and a digital at-home activity packet. \nAll is not what it seems! Test your observation skills during this interactive program for all ages with educators from the Intrepid Museum and the International Spy Museum (Washington\, DC). With examples from Intrepid‘s history and the Spy Museum’s collection\, participants will explore how the U.S. military and intelligence agencies used creativity and innovation to solve problems.
