The company is led by disabled artists; disabled artists create\, design\, and perform the work. They are playful and eager for attention. \nSince 1991\, Close-Act Theatre from The Netherlands (founded by Hesther Melief and Tonny Aerts)\, has specialized in large-scale\, interactive street theater for everyone. The company’s unique form of elevated performance is performed in\, between\, and above the public. Close-Act’s creations have been performed around the globe. Take your design home and showcase your collection! \nDrop in anytime from 9:00am-10:30am for a small-group\, sensory-friendly experience intended for neurodivergent children and teens!  \nABOUT THE PROGRAM\nProgram Length: No set time\, enjoy as much time as you need. The museum opens to the public at 10am; you do not need to leave once the museum opens.\nInteractivity Level: High  \nMorning at the Museum is a free\, sensory-friendly program for neurodivergent children and teens and their families in which they can visit Cooper Hewitt prior to opening on designated Saturday mornings. Attendees can drop-in on various activities or explore the museum independently at their own pace.
