DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun\, upbeat program of hot jazz\, American Songbook\, tango\, and more at our spring season finale: Cynthia Sayer’s Hot Jazz Party! An American Banjo Hall of Famer and Steve Martin Banjo Prize winner\, Cynthia and her all-star Joyride band just might get you swinging\, clapping\, and even singing along! \nThis event is part of Lincoln Center Moments\, a free performance-based program specially designed for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. \nPerformances at 11:00 am are Relaxed Performances\, designed for a neurodiverse audience. In addition to audiences impacted by dementia\, these performances are also open to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. \nPerformances at 1:00 pm are followed by an hour-long workshop specially designed for audiences impacted by dementia—facilitated by educators and music therapists that explore the work through discussion\, movement\, music\, and art-making.

SUMMARY:ACCESS JRM: Sensory-Friendly Hours
DESCRIPTION:Join us for sensory-friendly hours at the Jackie Robinson Museum\, held on the first Friday afternoon of each month and specially designed for neurodivergent visitors\, including youth and their families\, teens\, and adults. ACCESS JRM Fridays will feature limited general admission for reduced crowds and quieter gallery spaces with exhibit audio reduced or silenced. \nIn addition to our KultureCity resources available at all times\, ACCESS JRM hours will include availability of a dedicated quiet zone and interpretive offerings such as tours\, picture book readings\, and tactile learning opportunities for inclusive exploration. All age groups are welcome! \nACCESS JRM is mostly a self-guided experience and not designed as a drop-off activity. All children and youth ticket holders must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Families of all ages and identities are invited to celebrate Pride through hands-on art and storytelling activities. Guests will explore celebrations of identity aboard Intrepid and learn about the history of LGBTQ+ communities in the Navy. \nActivities are designed for learners of all ages and abilities.
