SUMMARY:Ragamala Dance Company
DESCRIPTION:Ragamala Dance Company describes humanity’s relationship with nature and the sacred. Created and performed by mother/daughters Ranee Ramaswamy\, Aparna Ramaswamy\, and Ashwini Ramaswamy—Founders of Ragamala Dance Company and internationally acclaimed for their mastery of the South Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam — this performance reveals the dynamic interplay between dance\, music\, and poetry within their Bharatanatyam lineage. \nThis event is part of Lincoln Center Moments\, a free performance-based program specially designed for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. \nPerformances at 11:00 am are Relaxed Performances\, designed for a neurodiverse audience.
